The staff can be a little bit snobby sometimes but their food is amazing!! Everything they make is delicious.

I have to say the food here is decent but the service is pretty inconsistent. I went in today with brunch for my daughter and asked the lady at the register why there rewards program is so inconsistent. She got smart with me and replied it wasn't. I told her that signed up to be apart of the program several weeks ago and it had still not taken effect. She rudely told me the owner were on vacation that why the info had not been put in the system yet. She could have been more polite. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

When they first opened (pre outside seating) they were much better -now flies around condiment/ fountain drink area --so makes you wonder about the back kitchen area.....for the prices please clean up more!

Wow! This gourmet market/deli is truly something special! This adorable place is tucked away in the sea of buildings that is along Red Run Blvd. but you must venture over there immediately for a mouth watering meal. I'm actually half tempted to head up that way for lunch again today! When we arrived, they were working on filling a catering order - they had trays of delicious looking mini versions of their signature sandwiches that we were salivating over. Despite the fact that they were freshly making sandwich after sandwich, everyone working was very pleasant and welcoming. After much decision making, we ordered their fresh mozzarella and tomato from their salad bar - (beautifully red, juicy tomatoes), split a Doeberry Syd and Moonlight over Vermont (by far the best sandwich ever! the ciabatta bread was perfectly toasted and the Boursin cheese was delicious!) and had to take a slice of cake to go (the chocolate peanut butter cake was extremely decadent and rich.) Their portion sizes are pretty big and will keep you stuffed for hours; but you'll want to go back immediately just to work your way down the menu. I can't wait until my next visit!

Been here a few times. Food is good, but terrible service. Went 20 minutes before closing and they said they already turned off their grills and oven. At the same time they were clearing out the salad bar. No offer to help us with any service and the place was still busy. Sadly, last straw for us.

I love coming here for lunch. It seems like many people don't know--but they're also open for dinner. No crowd!

I enjoy coming here for their gourmet sandwiches. They have a small gourmet market in addition to the cafe. My favorites are Where is Old Court Anyway, The Grilled Bella, The Tonka Club, and The Eliot. They also have pre -cooked meals that you can order by the pound if you need a quick dinner for the family.

I loved everything about this place, but I think I simply fell victim to ordering the wrong thing. My mom and I came here for breakfast (and I was determined to get breakfast) on the Saturday that the Yom Kippur fast was to be broken. As a result, the Girls ran out of eggs, leaving me sad and breakfast wrapless. I ordered the pancakes instead and was kind of disappointed by how greasy, heavy, and unfluffy they were. My mother ordered the Moonlight in Vermont sandwich with turkey, cheddar, apples, and boursin. The combination was delicious and bright, with obviously fresh ingredients. This sandwich is just one of the many bold, inventive sandwiches featured on Gourmet Girls' extensive menu. The cream of crab soup was fantastic and did not shy away from using plenty of chunks of sweet Maryland crab in its creamy, rich broth. I was hoping to try the regular tomato-based soup, but they didn't have it. They were also out of coddies, which my mom wanted to try. Overall, I can imagine that this adorable market/deli is an excellent addition to what seems to be a pretty homogenized corporate neighborhood. I love what they're doing and would definitely give them another try on a day that wasn't so busy and understocked. It's a great little spot with a sweet and friendly staff.

My husband and I went here for the first time on Friday night to grab some dinner. We weren't sure what to expect, and were blown away by all the incredible-looking options. We decided to do two dinners, so we could choose two entree items and two sides each, and then split everything so we could try a lot of different foods (because it was so hard to choose!). We ended up going with a crab cake, salmon with pineapple salsa, roasted asparagus, potatoes au gratin, baked sweet potato fries, and a roasted tomato stuffed with ricotta, mozzarella, and parmesan cheeses. They wrap it up for you in microwavable containers and then you take it home and reheat it (though we ended up taking everything out and heating it in the oven, to "re-crisp" the food). Every single thing was to die for. Oh, and the woman who helped us was SO nice and she even threw in a dessert for free!! It, too, was incredible. Definitely gourmet restaurant-quality food. We will be back many times! Can't wait to go for brunch, too!

I feel that they benefit from being one of the only catering/lunch places of this nature in the area. I feel that their food is overpriced for what it is, and they often get my order wrong.

My friend kept raving about this place so I joined her for lunch. Don't let the fact that it's in a business park scare you. It's another world once you step inside. First glance it looked more like a small carry shop....but then I saw the dining area. As a newbie I was overwhelmed by the choices! It was like looking at everything on a diner menu in front of you but gourmet. I think a lot of the great food was lost on me as sadly, I am not a foodie. I would live on coffee if given the chance. I had an excellent Italian Cold Cut on ciabatta and a soda for $10 and change. Lunch gets crowded so you'd almost want to know what you like when you step up to order. They keep the line moving by avoiding small talk! I might try the salad bar next time it looked exciting.

Phenomenal sandwiches. The Where Is Old Court Rd sandwich is my go to. Grilled chicken with havarti cheese roasted veggies and honey mustard on ciabatta. A little pricey but worth it.

The "moonlight over Vermont" is an awesome sandwich. Mmm! Certainly a steeper price than the Subway across the street--but how can you wrong with turkey, boursin cheese, craizins and green apples?! Plus, there's Stewart's root beer in the soda fountain and a great salad bar with fresh, organic stuff. Just a sucky location. Though I'm envious of all the people who work in this business park--I'd go there everyday!

I went here for dinner one night with the intention of dining in and having a nice hot meal. They are caterers. The food is mass produced and served cafeteria style. Grab a tray and a plastic box food container. Serve yourself at the hot food bar or the salad bar. Pay by weight. Eat with a plastic knife and fork. Dump your own trash when you're done. I dined at 6:30pm on a Monday night. My meat loaf was lukewarm. My brussel sprouts were burnt and rather difficult to chew. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who is going out for dinner. It may be OK to use for catering.

This place is a stones throw away from my office. It is a godsend. Ever since I began working around here, I've had my selection of every kind of fast food there is - burgers, mexican, BBQ, chicken-sandwiches, etc. - and I've gained some heft over the years due to my laziness of packing a lunch. I've always seen signs for Gourmet Girls, but never went down the road to see what it was all about. Oh how do I wish I made that trip when they first opened. The place is a gourmet market, gourmet deli, gourmet bakery, gourmet... whatever they decide to make that day. They are known for their sandwiches - when you walk in during lunch, you'll probably see a line, sometimes going out the door. Everything sandwich I had there has been great. Consistently great. They use fresh ingredients, take time to toast each roll (perfectly), and don't skimp on the portions. Served with a pickle and a taste of potato/macaroni/whatever salad they made that day, it's hard to beat at $6.99. Recently, they've introduced a "daily lunch special". This has been great - the prices very from $6.95 to $8.95, and the lunches range from bowls of soup, to buffalo chicken wraps, and sandwich deals like half-sandwich half soup or a hot brisket sandwich with fries and gravy. Always comes with a free fountain drink (and watch out, because the green tea on tap there is addictive). Also, they have weekly breakfast special that usually includes one coffee/tea, and one option that they decide for the week. Today was a sausage, egg, cheese and home fries breakfast wrap. I was nervous about it, because usually that combination results in a greasy stomach-ache for the rest of the day. It was fresh, flavorful, and not at all greasy. Last week's was a muffin of choice, and I went for the blueberry. Moist, not TOO sweet like a lot of muffin's are, and they obviously used fresh blueberries. They have some of the best Maryland Crab soup I ever ate. Each bite had crab, and some bites had JUMBO LUMP pieces of crab. I don't think I ever had crab soup that consisted of anything more than shredded up claw meat before I came here. They introduced a point system, which is the typical "keep buying stuff and you'll eventually get a free meal" kind of deal. Finally, while at times they seem "too busy to talk", they have never been rude and they obviously keep the quality of their food at the highest priority. This is the absolute best place in Owings Mills to get lunch. They also do catering and dinner packages, which I'll seriously consider down the road.

I have had good experiences in the past, but lately the staff have been difficult and almost rude, Today I was waited on by a very very young lady (maybe 12), have to say she was nicer than the other staff. Food quality is still good, but not worth the attitude you have to deal with to get your food.
